The "Youth @ Work Fayhaa" Alliance will deepen capacity building efforts related to local municipalities and community based organizations to improve their ability to design, implement, and evaluate effective youth employability programming.

Under Year 4 of the World Bank’s Global Partnership for Youth Employability (GPYE), the Arab Urban Development Institute (AUDI) and the International Youth Foundation (IYF) are building on previous work supported by the "Youth @ Work" Alliance in Tripoli, Lebanon. The "Youth @ Work Fayhaa" Alliance (The Arab Urban Development Institute (AUDI), the International Youth Foundation (IYF), the Fayhaa Union of Municipalities (FUM), the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Tripoli and North Lebanon (CCIAT), and  The Business Incubation Association In Tripoli (BIAT)), will deepen capacity building efforts related to local municipalities and community based organizations to improve their ability to design, implement, and evaluate effective youth employability programming. Previous years’ activities were focused predominantly on Tripoli, while activities under this Scope of Work will be broadened to cover the Al Fayhaa Union of Municipalities’ neighborhoods of El Mina and Beddawi which were surveyed alongside the city of Tripoli under the Rapid Community Appraisal of Youth in Al Fayhaa Union of Municipalities conducted in 2011.

The launching event was organized by BIAT at the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Tripoli on March 2013.

The project will provide 75000$ grants for 3 winning proposals applied by NGOs from the three regions Tripoli, Mina and Baddawi.
